It's been pointed out to me that the recruitment message in Wednesday's post could sound as though I was vagueblogging about some kind of rude comment, or as though I thought people who read the Herald don't see the point of the very Herald they're reading. I didn't intend that level of passive aggresiveness, actually. :) I was trying to riff on the transcript quote (Dawn doesn't see why people bother with relationships) without any deeper meaning, but the joke fell flat for some readers.

To clarify, we do know that you guys appreciate the work of the editors, mostly because we receive a steady trickle of sweet and supportive messages throughout the years. 💙
