Thank you for adding my banners to this list - I LOVE all the artwork here! It's nifty how each editor has their own special area of expertise.

The article about Faith Hick's Buffy comic is exciting (and kind of ironic given everything that's happened lately at Dark Horse. *cough*)

You are correct. There is a nice mix of interests among the editors right now, and that does influence our posts. But only if we are not too lazy to go above and beyond. And that wasn't me last night.

Here's how it works with the posts: The editors go to the journal sd_herald and click on "friends" and read its friends page. This journal has friended everyone on LJ who posts BtVS content and also has feeds from Ao3, Tumbler, Fanfic.net, etc. I simply provide links for everything that shows up on that page. I am extremely happy to link everything that promotes fandom content, but my list doesn't necessarily represent my personal interests.

Frankly, I like some of the stuff on my list and don't like others. I do love your work. I am not a huge fan of the sort of cartoonish artwork that often appears on Tumblr and there was a lot of it this time. But to take the words of the demon Fox News, "We report, you decide". That's my theory.

Some of us go above and beyond. Like rbfvid finds a lot of videos on youtube to list. rahirah seems to search for interesting articles on the net. I should really do a search on Tumblr before I post, but it's impossible to see the posting dates on Tumblr posts, and I was too tired last night. But I did include a couple things on my flist that were not on the sd-herald friends page.

So that's why I say there is no need to thank me when I list your work (although don't get me wrong, it's very nice to hear!). But I would list it whether I liked it or not. Because everyone should have the opportunity to see your work.
